Background Information

Ben Mayerson went to Owen J. Roberts High School where he was an honor student (formally gifted program), and wrestled for the varsity wrestling team.  Ben graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, in 1991, with a dual degree in Philosophy and Psychology, and minor in English Literature.  Thereafter, Ben was admitted to Widener University School of Law, and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (law degree) in 1994, where he also completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.

On January 1, 2011, Ben and Peter Dolan formed a partnership, Dolan & Mayerson, PC.  Peter Dolan continues to focus his practice on Family and Estate Law, while Ben’s practice remains focused exclusively upon personal injury and insurance litigation.

Ben has been a trial lawyer for 18 years.  He is a member of the American Association for Justice (formally known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA)), the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formally, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (PaTLA)), the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), the Chester County Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association.  Ben has been certified to practice law before all courts in Pennsylvania, including the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ben lives with his wife and children in South Coventry Township, Pottstown, Pennsylvania.  When not practicing law, Ben is involved in his childrens’ activities and has regularly volunteered for the Coventry Little League, Owen J. Roberts Age Group Swim, Red Knights Football, and the Norchester Wildcats Wrestling program.
